Originally by: kieron Oveur and I chatted a bit last night about the postings. Here's a little more about the intern positions- Housing, weekday lunches, and 2 weekday dinners are taken care of by CCP. A monthly salary will also be paid to assist with monthly expenses. Salary is based on previous experience.
In answer to other questions, language spoken in the office depends on whom you are speaking to. If an English speaker is involved in the conversation, English is spoken. If the people are Icelandic, English is generally thrown out through by leaving the spec wide open. Trust a man who knows.
All this will do is serve to make the 'jobs@ccp...' inbox become full of cr*p and, well, really disheartening to open and trawl through every day. And what can you tell from a CV anyway?
I'd recommend running open days/assessment centres - in Iceland. If people are really serious about a career and seem to have the skills, this will sort the wheat from the chaff. Just do one day a month or something. Make them structured. Get everyone involved for an hour or so. Much m/resume.
Oh, no...
Look, I'm a recruiter in RL, its what I've done for 8 years, and you need a different approach to this.
You're just going to get loads of dross through by leaving the spec wide open. Trust a man who knows.

Much more fun than trawling through CV's which tell you nothing about a person anyway, particularly as you are so open on skills/experience anyway.
If you like, I can establish and administer these assessment days for you. My consultancy fees are ú500 a day plus all expenses, plus ú5000 per successfully placed candidate. Recruiting ain't cheap, you know ;)
